tonight i went to the lake. we went for a boat ride and it was my first time in a boat. exploring the connecting lakes, the one called "blind lake" had water that was the colour of light green eyes. in fact, it was the water of the dream i had the other night. milky jade green water were the words that came to me when i woke up that morning, the ones that i wrote with a purple pen on a notecard. handwriting that doesn't even look like my own. my mouth dropped when we went there tonight. i didn't know water like that could exist here. what does it all mean?
